Terms and Conditions
Nicolas Hamdy – Medical Massage Therapist
1. Scope of application
These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Nicolas Hamdy, a self-employed medical masseur, and the patients who use his services.
By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services
The services offered include medical massages, various forms of manual therapy and complementary therapeutic techniques, all tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
These treatments are in no way a substitute for a medical diagnosis or medical supervision.
3. Book an appointment
Appointments can be made by telephone, online or in person at the practice.
An appointment is considered to be confirmed as soon as it has been made.
4. Cancellation of appointments and absence (no-show)
Any appointment cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
In the event of a late cancellation (less than 24 hours before the appointment) or a no-show, the full cost of the booked session will be charged.
This rule applies regardless of the reason for the cancellation, except in cases of force majeure.
5. Delay
In the event of a delay, the duration of the treatment may be shortened accordingly so as not to disrupt subsequent appointments.
The time booked will be charged in full.
6. Prices and billing
The current rates are those shown on the website or in the practice’s information.
Charges are based on the booked processing time and are calculated in 5-minute increments.
Sessions that have already begun must be paid for in full.
7. Terms of payment and late payment charges
Payment is due immediately after treatment, unless otherwise agreed.
In the event of late payment, the following provisions apply:
From the 5th day following the due date, an initial payment reminder may be sent.
From the 10th day, a reminder fee of 5 CHF may be charged.
From the 15th day, an additional reminder fee of 10 CHF may be charged.
From the 20th day, an additional reminder fee of 20 CHF may be charged.
Reminder fees are added to the amount due.
In the event of prolonged late payment, Nicolas Hamdy reserves the right to refer the debt to a debt collection agency.
By making an appointment, the patient expressly accepts this provision.
8. Coverage of costs by supplementary insurance
These services may be covered by certain supplementary insurance policies.
It is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurer in advance to see whether the costs will be covered.
Any reimbursement from the insurer does not exempt the patient from the obligation to pay the full amount of the bill.
9. Duty to cooperate and liability
The patient undertakes to provide full details of their medical history, current treatments, any pregnancy or any other relevant circumstances.
Nicolas Hamdy accepts no liability for any damage resulting from incomplete or incorrect information.
Liability is limited to cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Data protection
Personal data is processed confidentially and in accordance with current Swiss data protection regulations.
Further information is available in the separate privacy policy on the website.
11. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively.
The competent court is that of the place where Nicolas Hamdy has its registered office.
